Petition Get rid of Chatbox Archives

We, the people who post in favor of this move, feel that it is unneccessary to have archives for the chat box. Leaving it as is is akin to it being nothing more than a MB thread. The mods on this board clear it out sporatically anyways so if the intent is not there to keep it forever why keep the chat logs at all?

Chat box has nothing to do with board moderation. Do you see people/threads getting banned/deleted here? THAT'S where the moderating difference is between the boards. Ypu are hiding behind that false "moderating" pretense and I aint buying it!

Even if your logic were sound its already being moderating then as ninja DOES clear out the archives whenever he feels like it. Heck, the way it is is moderated, no archives gets rid of the damned moderating!

I agree cehnehdeh. The archives are the sole reason I don't participate in the chat box.

i tried looking into having the archives turned off, but to no avail. i will try and remember to clear them out from time to time.

I didnt want to have to go there but you've left me no choice. Often, DOC and Toeswer talk NCAA hockey in there. They are both so invested in college hockey, both mental and physical, that their true, raw emotions come to the surface. Often this translates into mutual "respect" for oneanother which has often, in the past, turned into mutual self pleasurement.

These boys deserve some damned privacy in this regard and as such felt this thread was neccessary.

Ever since this came up, I find myself actually going back and checking what is in those archives. Before this thread, it never even crossed my mind.

As long as they come out all shiny and new looking after you get done polishing them, I don't care how much you spit on them. Although I hear spit is different in Canada. Closely resembles acid in pH levels.
