didn't see a college hockey thread..

so sorry if there is one and I missed it.

Bemidji State has a 2-2 tie going with UMD right now after the first.. pretty good game so far.

lots of penalties for both teams in 2nd. still seems to be a pretty back and forth game. 2-2 after 2.

Jordan George denied on a heck of a move towards the end of the 3rd.. beaver forecheck was looking very good. Still 2-2.

OT.

UMD gets a pp goal with 8 seconds left to win it.. what a freaking game.

(apparently it was a shot to the head walters was ejected for with the 5 min mafor in the first..wasnt anything big or even a hard hit just got his hands up)

Gonna actually have to go to the Bob for the next one in this series now.

Beavs vs st cloud state tonight, gonna be taking the folks to thier first game at "the bob" (sanford center) should be a fun one!

i am currently wearing a St. Croix Valley jersey that looks much like St. Cloud's jersey. I am sure people will boo me at the bar tonight.

beavs ended up losing 2-1 in OT.. fun chippy game with great chances at both ends. beavs got a goal disallowed because of goalie interference on a review pretty much right after one of the st cloud players layed on bakala with a no call. quite a few penalties including a 5 min major for bsu.. overall really fun game and the folks enjoyed the "Bob" lets go beavs tomorrow night!

so I'm gonna go see some women Beavers tonight @ 6 vs. Wisconsin. Hoping it turns out to be a good game one of my buddies wife scored us 2 tickets in a suite from her work. I hear if they play well this last couple series they have a shot at home ice in the playoffs.. I love how excited people are finally getting about BSU hockey around here!
