Hear me out,

at almost the half way point of the year, we are showing some improvement over last year. I don't think we'll make the playoffs, but we should be on the cusp of it. Now, I know a majority of people are going to call for TR's head, but would bringing in a new coach be beneficial or would it be damaging? I think it would damage this team because you are starting over with a new style/system of play and you are back at square one. I know they are professionals and should be able to adapt easily, but obviously that wasn't the case last year, so what makes us think it would be different with a new face next year?

I say keep TR around 1 more year, have a good off season, and see what happens to see if he deserves to stay or hit the bricks.

the team is finally coming around and playing well.. if they can keep it up why not? it appears hes doing his job good enough that were stringing together wins.. once we get Lats back it will be fun to see how the lines shape up and what he does with them. Why not keep him at this point..hes showed us improvement.

They are right around where I expected them to be... I was in wait and see mode on Richards, and I see no reason why that should change at this point.

i think most if not all of us were on the wait and see train with TR. I dunno, I think this is coming to fruitation a little bit and it might be worth while to keep him around. We're right in the thick of things in the Western conference and I hope we'll be battling for a playoff spot come spring time.

I'd agree with that. It still remains to be seen whether or not Richards is the long-term answer and he does have a few areas which need to be improved, but for now the Wild are better off with Richards than starting over.

until he quits putting mittens on the top PP i'm going to be upset with him, but overall our team is playing much better the big thing is of late we've seen more consistency with them, and losing Zidlicky didn't derail the whole season we fought through it and have played well.

The only thing that still pisses me off is Mittens, honestly the backup goalie would be better on the PP and least he could do something like screen the other goalie or hit the net with a shot maybe, 99/100 mittens looks lost out there and 1/100 he does something amazing, just thing we could put a better 5th guy out there then el mittens

When I look at the Wild and I look at the Aeros... the Wild still lack skill at forward big-time. Granlund is the only one really for the future that has any level of puck skill to look forward to.

Hopefully we can continue drafting forwards/trading for them. Seems like our new crew of people in office can do a better job of it rather than DR's old scheme

Mikko's likely out long term after that puck hit his left hand. Props to Richards on mixing the lines and even using 3 wingers at times to fill the gap. He is going to have to keep up that creativity to help keep the opposition guessing on who to match up etc. It's the only way I can see us surviving the loss of Koivu.
