I don't know the whole story obviously. The major collapse this year couldn't help his cause. But I think 2 years is too short of a term. I think they should have let him try next year too and if things weren't getting better, make the move then. Fletch has some work to do...

as much as i thought he could have stayed earlier in the year, the performance and lack of motivation by this team had me wanting him gone. plus Fletch is in a tough spot, if he kept TR around, he would have to answer to a large angry mob of fans and have to try and make his big move elsewhere in FA or a trade.

I hope his dad has room in his basement. Optional practices buddy, not a good idea in Minnesota. Especially after a crappy effort.

Not a surprise. There not much cap room to make any changes up front at this point... and that means the only way to entice fans for next season are to make trades and/or replace the head coach. TR's head was on the platter due to circumstance more than anything.
