he's going to be a UFA in like 3 weeks, if we can get him for a home price of say 5-5.5mil and we can trade shultz we can make him fit.

he would give our D some much needed mobility and would be our PP QB,

Martin,Burns,Zanon,Barker,Zits would be a solid defensive core heading into next year.

yes i know he's a minnesota boy but more so he's one of the best FA's available so why not pursue him hard? he would make our Defense much better thats for sure

I don't see Lou letting him out of New Jersey

I don't see us being able to afford him without a major trade. I would rather see Cullen signed as our 2nd line center.

The Wild already have too much money tied up in its blueline. I think the Devils are going to do whatever it takes to keep Paul Martin there.

well they are going to try and keep him but if he is available we should pursue him hard, i mean we can try to move shultz probably at the draft, and Mittens that alone would free up almost all the money we'd give him, if we pay him 6mil that is, its June 12th, like 18 days left till FA you'd think he'd be inked by now.

I say move Shultz, Mittens for picks, offer marty a deal and solidify the blue line

so we all were upset when we extended the Zitmeister but won't it suck like 20 times more if Martin is available, now i get it GMCF had to do what he had to do, but i'm just saying i REALLY WANT MARTIN

i'm over the signing, i mean the guy had to do what he had to do, just saying wish we could somehow add martin, he would be a huge core piece for us.
