| Fucking hilarious. Why? Because a lot of people wanted entertaining hockey. Listen, I'm not against a new system. But I'm speaking about those who blamed Lemaire for providing boring games which still ended in losses. We were EXTREMELY fortunate to win the home opener. But most nights, instead of losing by a goal or two, we're gonna get blown out. And yes, I know this team is still adjusting and there are growing pains. And no, I'm not panicking either. Because I'm looking at this year as a wash anyway. But some folks who threw the blame in one direction (and thought they'd be fine throwing caution to the wind with a below top notch roster) better be careful what ya wish for. Go ahead and blame Harding tonight. But not even Backstrom will be able to bail them out every night. Who ya gonna blame then? Lemaire's in New Jersey. | |

| The lack of preseason games for the regulars bites them in ass. | |

| The lack of talent overall on this team and them trying to learn a completely new system is why this year will suck. I say this year is a wash too. I wrote about it on my blog in my predictions. With time, we will be fine. Oh, and fuck Pouliot. | |

Go ahead and tell that to the anti-Lemaire Backstrom butt kissers looking for an excuse.

Same with Shep! True, but that horse is only showing glue potential.

Same with Shep! He'll never hit stride with him in your sig you noob! Can't believe you haven't figured that out already! Everyone see Gaby today? Scores the game tying goal (3-3) seconds after Washington took the lead and then burried another one on the PP moments later. Guy is going to score 50 goals this year. Can't wait.

Same with Shep! True, but that horse is only showing glue potential. Uhh... it's only his 2nd game, and he was only given 5mins of ice-time in the first, most with Scott on the other wing.

Did u expect something else? How to become Detroit in 10 days? I liked JL, but that train was going nowhere.

That train was going nowhere because DR wasn't giving JL any fuel to get the train moving int he first place! No talent, no cup. That simple.

No talent, no cup. That simple. A little torn on that topic. JL relied on talent in offense, but he also stated that talent bring problems. And clearly could not manage talented guys. Gaby, Demo, Nolan... Let's see how NJD will do. They do as good as Wild.

| And as I said in that post, I'm calling this season a wash. My problem is the folks who are probably asking why Harding started and thinking that this game wouldn't be 0-3 with Backstrom in net. Umm...hello.....what happened during the 2nd period in the last game? It's for those who wanted the new system thinking it was just Lemaire's fault and not the fact that the roster was and STILL is not above average. It's for those who are gonna start making excuses and looking for scape goats out of anger when they said just last season how getting blown out would at least be more entertaining than losing by a goal or two. Like I said, be careful what ya ask for.
That said, thanks to Shep for providing some great insight to this game. He really HAS been playing since the age of three. What was his comment? Something similar to, "I think they (Kings) have been putting pucks in the net."

| JL was never given a truly talented roster, that's why Demo had issues, JL was forced to play him out of position because of the crap he was given by DR.
If talented individuals are stuck on a very untalented team, those individuals will get frustrated. That's a given.

| It would be ridiculous to say any of the score has to do with who is in net..its irrelevant. We turn it over way more than we usually do...we are consistently out of position...and our passes aren't crisp. and this is coming from someone who has followed hockey seriously for about 3 years | |

| That last goal is completely on Zanon... he was back and in position to defend the play along with Burns, until he decided off the wall to step up on a player 3 strides behind the play hanging Burns and Harding completely out to dry. | |

Why not? We've got the sticks, marshmallows, and chocolate all ready to go. We can't waste them.
