Well he did get shutout last night (Remember, the game Gabby scored the GTG AND GWG in?) so I thought this might make it a bit more of a tossup.

Gabs couldn't even carry Ovechkin's jock. If he did, he'd probably injure himself.

I voted no, just because it's such a difficult thing to do... that doesn't mean I think it's impossible for him to do either. If anyone will anytime soon, it will be him.

Won't happen! Too many other goal scorers on that team. He's a gun as it is, he'd would need to gun even more.

I think he will, but if he only gets 50 in 82 or so that would still make him god. Most complete player in the league right now. Wash is a team to be afraid of.

I think Gaby will. Not in the straight 50, because he needs to be injured once in a while, but he is gonna make it happen.

First of all, hello everyone!! I've been around the boards a long time, I just don't usually say much. But I like this board and I hope it survives.

I voted no, but it's not impossible. I give it about 1 chance in 3 that he has 50 goals after the 50th game this year. I think 40 goals is more likely.
