Story Line: With winger Martin Havlat being a game-time decision, the Wild could be without four of their top forwards tonight because of early season injuries (Havlat, Sykora, Bouchard, Clutterbuck). Quick Hits:1. Can Minnesota get their first road victory of the season? 2. Will the Wild be able to be competitive with so many important players out of the line-up? 3. Will the Wild be able to snap their three game losing streak against a team they fared well against last season (4-2-0)?

| We were fucked before the season started because DR left such a mess to begin with. It will take a few seasons to fix this mess. | |

| The Wild players are still on the bench after forgetting that the Canadian National anthem is played last when in Canada. As a result, the Oilers score immediately from a 5 on 0. Wild fans blame Harding. Boogie stands up on the bench looking to exchange words with Mac T only to find Quinn shooting him the evil eye. During the stare off, the Oilers score again after Johnsson loses the puck in his skates. He then yells at Tony on the bench to find him some gray or white hockey skates. Nolan can't believe his ears and yells, "Sit down ya frickin' $5 million hoser!" While Nolan and Johnsson start exchanging punches on the bench, Koivu goes streaking down the ice. He sets up Mittens who simply has to tap the puck into an 3/4 open net. He hits the post. The bench is excited as Schultz hollers, "We're getting closer boys!". The guys on the ice are so pleased that they almost scored that they forget that the puck is still in play, and the Oilers streak down the ice on a 3 on 1 and score their 3rd goal. Richards does a face palm. Ramsey puts his arm around him and says, "Don't worry. There's still fifteen minutes left in the first period. We've got lots of time to come back." Wild fans want Harding pulled, and believe that Backstrom would have never allowed two of those goals. Meanwhile, Sykora is up in the pressbox admiring his stanley cup ring, Bouchard is admiring Gabby's stats, and Havlat is on the phone with Walsh yelling, "Trade me right fucking now!"

| Why does every Wild player feel the need to make a useless move right when they reach the offensive blueline, only to cause their linemates to go offsides?
Even Koivu is guilty of this...

Even Koivu is guilty of this... It is an epidemic. If they don't have a linemate with them, they wait until they cross the blue line, slow down, and then do it.

| This team is so thin is sick. Overpaying for just "solid" NHL'ers really has left this team with very little at both the top and bottom end of the talent spectrum. They have only a couple players with any real talent, then just a bunch of grinders, followed by AHL'ers. | |

| Zidlicky once again shows his uselessness as a defender... Just keep your man in front of you... how do you let PENNER step around you?

| This loss isn't about injuries or a new style. Last I checked, we weren't missing any defensemen to injuries. They're healthy. This bullshit of a game is due to their clusterfucks...it's their OWN doing. It ain't the system. They just have their heads up their asses. | |
