Disagree completely! It's not lack of talent or skill that has been holding Pouls back! Oh yeah, I forgot it was the world holding him back. He might succeed if put on a line with a playmaker who wants to do all the work and a physical player to make room for him.

| He must have tunnel vision or something? That is the second time where he had the entire right corner to work with but he wouldn't bring it over there. | |

When did I say it wasn't Pouls himself holding him back? I just said it wasn't a lack of talent or skill... I did not imply in anyway that it was anyone else but himself though.

| Pouliot has to pretty much be an instant success in Quebek or he will get tossed by the fans/media, he has the pieces he just has to put them together. Drive is a big part of any players success, look at ovie, he has talent but he WORKS SO HARD on the ice that just allow him to succeed. | |

| Aha! Since I couldn't watch, or even listen to the game I was completely unaware of this fact... but now i know for sure why the wild won! Sheppard didn't play! Oh and also, that's the last 6pts in the Standings for the Wild that can be directly tied into moves made by Fletcher. | |

| actually you could say our last two wins was due to Benoit being traded (since Laten had the game tying goal in Colorado and assisted on the game winner tonight.) | |

| Neither game would have been won without Ebbet in the Shootout and in OT, so it was also due to the waiver wire... so you can just say that Fletch is a genius! | |

Aren't you part of the crowd that says he should have gotten more 1+2 line time or wasn't given a chance here? If not, my apologies. And yeah, I agree the kid appears to have talent bottled away and I was smitten with him at one time. In fact, I believe I thought he reminded me of and could be come a Bobby Smith type player.

Let's hope it is a wake up call and the kid picks up his game. Not everyone is going to give us something for our under achievers and busts.
