Scandella and Prosser will likely fight for one... Wellman, Almond and Gillies will fight for another (Almond possibly even beating out Sheppard at this point, which would leave 1 more spot for Wellman and Gillies to fight for possibly).

well this next season should be interesting to say the least. glad to see we are making moves and not getting rid of draft picks to do it.

so frustrating to sit and think "man, if dr had left us with more money, what could we have done"

but that ship will pass at some time.

Cullen's deal is for 3 years.
Nystrom's deal is for 3 years.
Backstrom has 3 years remaining on his deal.
Bouchard has 3 years remaining on his deal.

That's $15+mil in expiring contracts in 3 years...
