So you'll go on record saying the Avs won't put 3 past the Wild in a single game this season? they will, i think they will surprise a lot of people this year.
off the record can you log into the wild board forums wont let me for some reason, and i had a badass avatar too :/ Yup but you would've lost your sig/avatar on the switchover. The Avs have ZERO pressure on them so they have nothing to lose and everything to gain. I always like being an underdog better than I like being a "sure thing"

Nobody is going to want to take on that contract. Thus he's practically untradable.

Meh, welcome to the world of ineptitude. Misery loves company so we should get along fine. WTF is with the 2-1 score though? I thought you guys were going to open it up?

| well our top line did play well and created a bunch of chances, the problem was with the 2nd line Butch was awful at center he back down so much, Shepp did much better but it was late in the game and wasn't used to the other two guys, the rest of the team still looks stuck in the old don't go into the opponent zone its where the devil lives mentality. Gong to take a while to get players going in hard. | |

Demo worked the groin, Butch worked the area just above in the middle.

BINGO! I'm sure most of you Wild fans will have LOTS of patience for this transition to take effect though right? Will Bitch ever learn that it's OK to take a hit to get dirty in the corners or do you think he's plateaud and he is what he is?

| while we lost the game was entertaining to watch so i think the fans will stick around, as the season is only going to get better.
No butch is just too much of a woman, there is a reason he got benched, when you are making 4mil and you get benched something is wrong. Butch is going to be traded, i know we wont get much in return but he's just not fitting anywhere, you can't put him on top two lines he wont make the plays and lets face it he's not a grinder so he might as well just go elsewhere.

| They have to play a simpler game. Zanon was terrible with the puck, Burns and Johnsson had some gaffs as well, hell you could argue Zidlicky was the best d-man on the ice for us tonight. Havlat had his moments, but he caused the first goal by not getting the puck deep, and he can't go offside late in the game when Burns was streaking down the middle. No surprise Bouchard got sent to the 4th line in game 1, why bother letting the guy play if he brings nothing? Put him on waivers, some sucker might take his contract... hell swap him for Nylander at least his contract is 2 years less. Let Pouliot play, he said he was ready, Bouchard is useless and so is Scott. | |

| you can tell the guys are working hard and are working on getting their timing and chemistry down. It was really entertaining to watch, and man was it nice to see the D-men getting more involved in the play.
After tonight, I think Backs will be fine with the new system. He held his own pretty well tonight.
Also thought it was cool to see Columbus in what looked like a sell out crowd. Hopefully they can keep a strong following throughout the year.
